People bully others in many different ways. There is not one set way to bully. Anything that is harmful or abusive to another person is said to be bullying.

This includes physical violence and abuse (kicking, hitting etc.), verbal abuse (name-calling, teasing etc.) and the use of technology offensively (MSN, email, text-messages etc.). Sometimes bullying can involve criminal acts such as stealing and assault.

Bullying is similar to abuse such as harassment, racism, and the abuse of children by adults.
